He Cares for the Elderly
The years sped by, oh, so fast. Can’t hang on nothing lasts. Now alone and in despair. Just memories are all that’s there. Isn’t there one who will care? Where is God when you grow old? And the world around you turns so cold. Put in a home - no family, no friends. Some days praying for life to end. Where is God? He’s right there. He never left; He still cares. Turn from self-pity and needless fear, And hear Him say, "Child, I’m here." For no matter what your age may be You can be His child eternally. So when you’re tempted to despair, Look up, listen, and hear, "I care! – Donna Marie Kappel
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you; I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you. - Isaiah 46:4 |
