A Prayer of Thanksgiving
Lord, it’s easy to be thankful When things are going well. Of Your goodness and Your mercy, I then so gladly tell. But when You allow those trials, And pain is all I feel; It’s then that I can truly see Jehovah God is real. For the fire does not burn me, And despite the grief, there’s peace. I know that You are in control, Your love for me won’t cease. So thank You Father for the joy. And thank you for the pain. You’ve cared enough to mold me, Lord; I praise Your Holy Name! -Donna Marie Kappel
